The Family Firm Institute, the premier global organization for advisors to entrepreneurial families, awarded Ellen Frankenberg their Interdisciplinary Achievement Award.
This award was given based on Dr. Frankenberg's longstanding work promoting collaborative relationships among professionals who advise business families.
- She has taught seminars for accountants, attorneys, financial advisors and psychologists through the University of British Columbia at Vancouver and Toronto and through the Family Firm Institute.
- She has developed study groups during the past 20 years, bringing together professionals to share cases and improve practice in their work with family firms.
- She has mentored other professionals, including attorneys and other psychologists as they develop careers with family enterprises.
- She has collaborated with other trusted advisors while working with family business clients for more than 20 years.
Dr. Frankenberg has served since 2001 as a Family Business Advisor with Fellow Status, the highest credential in the field as designated by the Family Firm Institute.
